College House is a fully fledged boarding facility which is adjacent to the Senior College and is able to accommodate 70 learners on either a weekly (Monday to Thursday) or monthly basis (seven days per week, excluding school holidays). The boarding house follows a structured programme under the auspices of the Southdowns College rules and regulations. The accommodation houses 2 to 3 learners per room with their own on suite bathroom facilities and full access to the state-of-the-art gym facility. Meals are provided by the restaurant within the school grounds.
Whether a weekly, monthly or a boarder per term, it sees each pupil in a well-proportioned, individual bedroom with study facility, luxury bathrooms, a communal lounge and TV area, wireless, broadband connections, a modern dining hall, laundry, sanitarium with a dedicated nursing sister, as well as an on-site school psychologist.
Safely enclosed within the school grounds with 24-hour security, it allows boarders the use of the School amenities at all times.
Led by an experienced House Master and House Mistress, PWC Boarding offers a warm and comfortable environment, yet still creates the structure and discipline necessary to teach independence, resilience and build strength of character.
Co-education allows siblings of both sexes to attend the same school and boarding facility thus presenting the family with numerous benefits. PWC’s convenient location makes drop-offs and collections or unscheduled visits to the school a breeze for families living in the Gauteng major city centres.
