Centurus Colleges’ Good Citizenship, Outreach and Bursary programmes are managed through the Centurus Colleges Trust (CCT). CCT was created in order to pursue one of Centurus Colleges’ core values: Nation Building through Outreach across the Community. The Centurus Colleges Trust will soon be a registered charity.
CCT’s philosophy centres on empowerment through education, using an holistic approach that supports families as a whole. It encompasses:
- Pre-school children, school-age children, teenagers and adults
- Academic subjects and also life education
- Physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual development of children and their family support structures.
In addition to providing assistance to schools located close to the three Centurus Colleges, CCT also runs a number of separate initiatives designed to leverage on the skills, knowledge and resources of all Centurus employees in order to serve our country on a larger scale. CCT’s initiatives include:
A. The Centurus Colleges Trusts:
B. Centurus Academies
C. The Kingsley Holgate Foundation
D. The Makuleke Foundation
E. The Libraries Initiative
